Supporting Each Other At The Table

Posted by Jena Cuellar Harris on

One of the questions I get sometimes is whether our meals are “for women” since I often speak to mothers and busy women who carry a lot of the responsibility around food.

That’s partly because so much of the conversation around food still lives with us.

The truth is, our meals are built to support anyone who wants to eat well.

Clean ingredients.
Balanced portions.
Real food that fuels your day.

For many men, the only adjustment they need is a little more protein, which you can add with a click of a button when ordering.

Because nourishment doesn’t have to mean cooking two different dinners.

It just means building a plate that works for your body.

And in many homes, when food works for everyone, the responsibility of figuring it out doesn’t fall on just one person.

And sometimes support looks as simple as a partner saying, “Let’s just order the meals this week.”

Which is something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately.

In this series, I’ve been exploring how our relationship with food evolves over time — from restriction, to freedom, and eventually to support.

Support from systems.
Support from our community.
And sometimes, support from the people we share a table with.

Because feeding a household was never meant to be a one-person job.

Orders for this week close Friday at 5pm.
